Shop Emergency Warden Safety Gear

When an emergency hits, every second counts, and visibility matters. Our Chief Warden, Fire Warden, and Warden PPE range is designed to help your personnel lead with confidence and clarity. Whether you're preparing for an evacuation drill or stocking your EPC kit for full-scale emergency response, we offer a full suite of compliant gear: hi-vis vests, hard hats, caps, lanyards, and ready-to-go bags.

All products are compliant with AS 3745-2010 and AS/NZS 4602.1:2024 where applicable, and suitable for workplaces with formal Emergency Plans in place.

Emergency Role Types & Colour Guidelines
Choosing the right colours and items isn’t just about visibility. It’s about clear identification under stress. These recommended colours align with AS 3745-2010 and are widely adopted across Australian workplaces:

Role Recommended Colour
Chief Warden White
Deputy Chief Warden White
Fire Warden Red
Warden Red
First Aid Officer Green
Area Warden Sun Yellow
Communication Officer White

Note: Final decisions should be made by your site’s Emergency Planning Committee (EPC). Where custom shades like “Sun Yellow” are used instead of standard yellow, it’s best to confirm consistency across all PPE items.

What You’ll Need

We’ve helped EPCs across Australia gear up for both drills and real-world emergencies. Commonly ordered items for Chief Warden, Fire Warden and Warden roles include:

  • High Visibility Vests with printed roles (min. 12 units for printing)

  • Colour-coded, printed Hard Hats

  • Warden Caps with embroidery (adjustable and breathable)

  • Emergency Warden Bags – pre-packed or custom assembled

Every product is designed with both compliance and comfort in mind, so your team can focus on the task, not the gear.

Customisation Options

We understand that no two EPCs are exactly alike. That’s why we offer:

  • Screen Printing for bold, visible role labels

  • Embroidery for caps, jackets and bags

  • Digital Transfer Printing for complex logos or detailed designs

  • Logo storage for fast reorders

  • Free mockups before production starts

Compliance Notes

All vests and caps use compliant hi-vis colours (fluoro yellow, red, green, etc.) in accordance with AS/NZS 4602.1:2024 for high visibility garments. Reflective tape may be included on certain vests, but is optional for indoor or daytime-only emergency planning as outlined in AS 3745-2010.

Hard hats meet AS/NZS 1801, with role labels affixed using durable outdoor vinyl. Caps are lightweight and ideal for comfort during drills or prolonged wear indoors.

Tips for Choosing the Right Gear

  • Always check your site’s EPC plan for role titles and colours

  • Order spares. At least one extra per role to ensure coverage if someone is away

  • Consider printed vests over blank ones to avoid delays during evacuations

  • Match your cap or helmet colour to the vest's colour for fast visual ID
